Welcome

My name is Yasaman Pishvaei, also known as Yassi, an Iranian multimedia artist, Expressive Arts facilitator, and researcher  residing in the serene countryside near Berlin, Germany.

With a background that includes a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from OCAD University in Toronto, Canada, and a Master's in Expressive Therapy with a minor in Psychology from the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland, I am currently pursuing a PhD in the same field.

My artistic journey extends beyond personal expression; I have actively applied arts-based methodologies in diverse projects. This includes designing and leading tailored group workshops, retreats, and providing individual therapy, coaching, and consultations. My approach integrates Expressive Arts and Interpersonal Neurobiology frameworks to delve into the complexities of human experience and to guide arts-based research processes.

Currently, I lead Expressive Arts training seminars and offer group supervision at Step Ahead, Berlin's Institute of Expressive Arts, supporting students to explore and apply EXA approaches in various contexts.

For those interested in integrating arts-based and solution-oriented methods into professional practice or personal development, or for anyone curious about this transformative framework, I invite you to connect with me.
